Hi there,

Long time hunter, but new to gunnutz. One of the local gun shops suggested I check out the site as I'm looking for good pre-64 Winchester. So far, I'm impressed with the number of people who access this webste.

welcome to the site, if your looking for a place to shoot, come across the river, we have a nice place at the Danford lake gun club.
 
I know nothing about hunting (I shop at Loblaws) but welcome anyways!!

I'm actually fairly new to Ottawa. We moved out here from BC. I've been here for a couple years now and stopped shooting when I moved out and A: didn't know anyone, and B: realized there was only a 2 week deer season. I bought myself a crossbow and have hardly touched the guns since the move. Getting a bit bored though and hope to start shooting again in the new year (after the hunting season). I had considered joining the Stittsville range as it's the only one I could find in the yellowpages. Are there any other clubs that offer rifle, pistol, and shotgun around Ottawa? I looked into the EOHC as well, briefly. Are they only a handgun club?
 
outside range for handgun at the danford lake gun club, we are starting to get many shooter from ottawa.if your interested.
 
NCRRA / Connaught does pistol, shotgun, and rifle (out to 900 yards) and it's all outdoors. Kanata area.
