Hello all. I joined CGN a week or two ago but thought I'd introduce myself here today as I just got my PAL in the mail this afternoon. I took the course with my son and sent in the paperwork 5 weeks ago. Sounds like that's not a bad wait compared to some provinces. My son is still waiting on his.
Anyways, what a goldmine this site is. Big thanks to everyone who makes it what it is. I think I'm looking at getting an SKS for starters. Nice and cheap. Also interested in a lever action Win or Marlin. Plan on going for my RPAL later in the year aswell.

i went to high school in white rock, and lived there for almost 6 years. I miss the ocean breeze/smell it was awesome during the summer! windows open and you just feel that cool ocean breeze
 
Thanks folks. Yeah, White Rock is great. I've had to move away a few times now and have moved back as soon as I can. I'm really happy (and somewhat surprised), to see how many people on the site are in the lower mainland.
