Although I'm brand new to it I can tell you most guys are going to say " their isn't a good starter kit and just focus on the press you want. I myself got a kit but I got it for 3 reasons auto dispenser turret press and case trimmer lol the rest is a bonus but I imagine like most these guys say I'll be swapping out a lot of stuffHi, I’m also a brand new member and thinking about starting to reload for my .300 Wby Mag and for a .300 PRC that I am getting shortly. I just bounced to the Budget Shooter Supply website and they have a kit there which I assume is a decent kit at least for a beginner. But I note your comment “just focus on the press you want”. As a total beginner's for reloading, I’m assuming from your comment that the press is the key piece of equipment. Anyone have any tips on what to look for in a press for a reloading newbee?Although I'm brand new to it I can tell you most guys are going to say " their isn't a good starter kit and just focus on the press you want. Is "town post" a shop ? Or a Craigslist type thing?I used Western Metals in Calgary, Shooters Haven in Edmonton, and the pawn shop in Stoney Plain for most of my stuff, helps that I can just stop in there and not worry about shipping. I also use townpost, get most of my powder on there
It's a classifieds page. I believe it's nation wide, pretty popularIs "town post" a shop ? Or a Craigslist type thing?
Thank you for the RCBS rec. A friend had mentioned them as being the best so I will have a look at their kit also.RCBS Supreme Master Reloading Kit. Buy once cry once. Just keep your eye out for the sales on this kit, don't buy unless it's on sale. That's my 0.2
And Town Toast and Gun Toast are both decent sites for used reloading equipment. But like everything else, use your common sense and double check everything when dealing with individual and private sale. Good luck
At the powder and brass store along with a few primers tossed in.Hey I'm a brand new member and also new to reloading just wondering where you guys are having luck getting supplies powders brass and primers ?
