Signing up as part of an ongoing search for a decent -to-nice condition Savage 24 in .30-30 / 20G or .30-30/ 12G. A "C" (breakdown/Camper model) would be even better!
(And yes, I know Savage now makes the Model 42, but I'm not enamoured with the calibre pairing. I'm not bailing out of a downed aircraft and surviving on muskrat while I hike out of the Yukon - I'm looking for a versatile deer and small game/bird rifle I can carry on hunting trips, so something more in thru calibre pairings above is what I want!)
