Hey guys,
New to the forums and the firearm hobby as a whole. Just got my license and bought a Garand, M305 and an early Model 1912 Winchester. There are a few guns on my “wish list” one of them being an M1903A4. I’ve seen them being mentioned briefly here a few years ago and from my researching I’ve come to understand they are pretty hard to come by in Canada. I wasn’t able to enter the wanted/selling part of the forums for some reason. I don’t want to break any rules on my first post but where would it be acceptable to post the equivalent of a wanted ad for one of these rifles? Thanks

I love these old battle rifles. Was the driving force behind getting my license.

You must ask for access to the Equipment Exchange - once that's approved by the mods, you can post a WTB (Want To Buy) ad in the Military Surplus section.

New users who apply for access to the equipment exchange will receive the following "Equipment Exchange" privileges:

1) Viewing all WTS equipment exchange forums;

2) Creating new ads in the equipment exchanges forums. These ads will be displayed upon review and approval;
(Your ad will be reviewed for compliance with EE rules and you may be asked to provide pictures to prove possession based on your account risk assessment)

3) Having Trader Rating and leaving Trader Ratings for others;

To access the WTB forums and gain full membership, you may submit the joining request again provided:

1) a minimum of 3 months has passed since your account first registration date;

2) your account has made a minimum of 10 contributing posts to the forum within the 3 months of submitting the joining request. Postings in the following forums do not count:

a) Greeting and Introductions
b) Off Topic
c) CGN Community group of forums
d) Equipment Exchange Forums

Second submission is not a guaranteed access. We reserve the right to reject access to the WTB forums.

Be careful when posting WTB once you get access to the Equipment Exchange. There are some less than reputable sellers, who see $$ as soon as they see a WTB, and will tack on a heavy premium price if they happen to have the item you want.

Lots of good, reputable sellers as well, and helpful people in the forum in general. Never be afraid to ask advice in here. It won't take too long to figure out who's worth listening to (usually not me, I can be a shameless rabble rouser).
