My son and I started hunting a couple of years ago when we moved to Alberta.Someone referred this site as a place to get and share info on hunting and firearms.We have hunted moose and deer up to now and want to start hunting geese and ducks as well.I am looking for a reliable pump action shotgun.Since I`m a newbie to hunting i don`t want to spend to much on a shotgun until i become better at it.Can anyone tell me what shotgun would be best for me and whether or not I can buy it used.

Hey okotoks, first... Welcome to CGN! Second, have a look at the shotgun forums we have here & the Equipment Exchange which you can apply for through your UserCp on the top left...

I run with a Benelli Nova 12 gauge with a 3.5 inch chamber. To me, it's a pump that does it all well... I have had semi's and doubles... But have always gone back to a 26 inch barreled 3.5 inch chambered 12 gauge pump...
