I'm a big fan of the Smith and Wesson M&P pistols, own both the 2.0 and the first gen, But now they've come out with an aluminum frame 2.0 and I
want! Sadly we will never see it in Canada thanks to Justine, but at least the gang bangers and other criminal types will be free to smuggle them in when ever they want.
I was having a good day, but now I'm sad.

Metal MP 2.0 Smith Wesson

Any chance any of the retailers or distributors got their hands on the new all metal MP 2.0 before the import ban? I just saw and held it in the states and it is a fantastic piece.

northsylva ??

Not a chance unfortunately, NS posted their remaining stock, I haven't even seen any American retailers with it yet, it was also only announced on the 30th of August

Man the import ban was almost a month ago. No more handguns have come in since Aug 19. Good luck on the existing Canadian market.

In my post I literally just said I was in America over the weekend and held it at a store.

same here , the moment i saw it , i wanted it, maybe Pierre P will turn things around for us

Remember the Conservative govt in the UK stated that they would return the firearms laws around if they were elected, it’s been over 20 years and nothings happened

I’m not so sure about the new CPC leader. The TooleFool took the party to the center on his own volition even after the CPC convention spelled out conservative election mandates. Big disappointment Scheer lost 12 ballots in a row, winning only the 13th with unyielding support from the Supply Management side.
Conservative governments have a poor track record when it comes to rolling back or eliminating previous gov’ts bad policies, just look at the six (6) years in majority gov’t the Harper Conservatives had to reform/change/eliminate bill C68. And recently here in Ontario Doug Ford’s so-called Conservative government did little to roll back the bad years of McGuinty/Wynne disaster. Ford added all kinds of new rules & regulations that Ontario subjects must now live by.
Like I said, I’m not so sure…..
