New Model 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round one piece tube.

I just bought a brand new 870 Express Synthetic 7-Round and the "new" ones come with a one piece 6 shot magazine tube, the new magazine is no longer flush with the barrel, two other change are the new magazine plug with a swivel stud and the rear swivel stud is now molded in the stock. Here are some pics of my gun.

I wonder if a +1 extension will fit on the end?

That is one nice looking gun! Now tell us it functions flawlessly, as there's been quite a bit of bad press on the 870's as of late.

I have Marine Magnum that I purchased in 2011, and it has been flawless. It has the exact same buttstock (see below), but with the R3 recoil pad. It also has the crossbolt safety, ball indent mag extension, etc. Very nice. Does yours come with the R3?

well ones good thing about is is we made this new bayonet mount set, had to make a very interesting offset adaptors foe the end cap

As long as you don't want to use different barrels there is nothing wrong with it. I just tend to swap barrels around so it's no good to me
