Came across this on the Marstar website. Thought I'd let everyone know as I didn't see anything posted in the Marstar section.

Its like mine with adjustable sights. Good gun. I love commanders. The stock grips suck though and have to go right away. Mine are sitting behind me on the floor right now. Someone once said Norinco grips are the sidewalls of recycled army truck tires.

I think that looks great! I didn't like the looks of the last Commanders with the squared trigger guard as much...and with adjustable sights? They also apparently have a full length guide rod - stock!

Looks like a nice variation of the Norinco compact 1911A1.

Personally, I like the new sites & back to the rounded trigger guard. Don't care for extended slide stops. Can live without the ambi-safety & full length guide rod. All of those are easy change outs for me, though.

And I always seem to put new grips on any Norc 1911 I buy, too.

This one is from a few series ago. I changed out the trigger, grips & grips screws. Other than that it is stock. Shot like a house on fire right out of the box. I picked it up from a local dealer:

Since we're on the topic would someone point me to a Canadian online retailer that carries a good selection of 1911 grips? I bought one of these 1911A1C's the other week. Still waiting for it to come, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be partial to low profile grips b/c I have small hands.

I never thought to check Cabela's or Wholesalesports, locally, yet. Perhaps they have a selection there, too.
