New Mossberg 500 .410

Finally pulled the trigger (excuse the pun) & bought a .410 pump. I've eyed this shotgun for quite some time. I came across a deal I couldn't pass up. $375 new. My father owned a Winchester Bolt .410 & I used that lots for harvesting chickens & rabbits. So the yearning has always been there for me... Chickens season is open until Jan 15th I believe, so I'll see if I can put er to good use.

Here she is with my other two shotguns... Mossberg 835 Ultra Mag & UTS -15.....

What model was the Winchester bolt action.410?Was not aware that Winchester made a bolt action shotgun.

What make is the .410 pump you purchased?The picture you posted does not come up on my computer.

My bad I see the title says a Mossberg.

In the past I had two friends who used this shotgun in .410.They both seemed to enjoy the gun.

Nice little gun which I have an eye out for if the price is right. Almost bought one last month off of GP but a Winchester 94 XTR in 307 Winchester gut in the way. Sometimes we just have to decide which one we want more. Nothing wrong with the Mossberg, my 12ga is set up for slugs. Does what I want it to do. My wet weather deer gun.

I've always wanted one of those. I dont know why. I dont hunt and the shells make me laugh when I look at the price.

But it just seems so handy and cute. I'd love to blast a 410. I've only ever shot a 12 gauge. There is a 10 gauge on the EE that would be a hell of a gun cut down to 18.5"..

My father got back to me. He said it was made in Europe, but doesn't remember the model.... Only one I can find on google is a Mossberg 183. Bolt action, internal mag....

Well he thought about it some more... he told me it was made in Spain, he bought it new for $33. He said it would have been made in late 60s.. So I googled it, & sure enough there was a Spanish made internal box magazine fed .410..
