New NECG Ruger Peep

NECG finally adapted the styling of their CZ peep sight to a model for the Ruger, just what I've been wanting.

I called to order one today and was denied.

I have bought from them in the past, but they can no longer ship to Canada without having a permit for each part and they won't do it.
BATF introduced the new regs beginning April of this year.
Apparently Brownells will no longer ship north either.

It's possible through an importer like Prophet River, but at $50 per part, plus an 8-12 week wait, one has to really decide if it's worth it.
Incredibly frustrating indeed!!!!

Very nice. If I had a Ruger I'd want one too. Maybe Prophet will do a group order, if enough guys get together.

I want a few of the NECG peep sights, we should talk to Clay at Prophet about a group buy! I willing to order 5 NECG peeps, 2 CZECH 527'S, 1 CZECH 550, 2 .22 rim fire peep sights, as well as 2 or 3 express sight sets.Hope others would order, it would be great!

Couple of things to note about importing and group purchases:

There is documentation for the seller to fill out that must accompany the package in a certain way, hopefully NECG would be willing.
The buyer(s) are resonsible for the package and the tracking until it arrives at Prophet River's FFL.
Each different SKU requires a $50 fee, 10 of the same sight= $50, 10 different sights = $500.

On the Prophet River website there is a section dedicated to their rules for importing, go check it out.

Looks great. There banded front sight bases are nice too....... bummer about the stupid export rules.
I was talking to XS sights yesterday about getting a couple of screws and the nice woman was ready to ship them out for free until she heard I was in Canada.....sorry we can't ship two small screws to Canada. She was nice and said they are working on trying to figure out how to service their customers outside of the USofA.

They are actually made by Recknagel in Germany. People who import guns from Europe will be able to get them from them , most likely. I ordered the 527 style, installed on a Krieghoff.

I'd like one for my CZ 527 LUX and a tall brass partridge matching front sight too.
I was about to get some from NECG, but also didn't know they don't ship to Canada anymore.

I just received the old style NECG Ruger sight that I ordered from Brownell's last week. No problem, it was in stock and shipped promptly. Now I'd like to order one of the new style ones. I wonder if it will go as well.
