Yeah I am curious of the pricing on the 2-12x42. Also curious if it is made in Japan or in USA. If it comes with good non gimmicky hunting reticle options it'll likely be a good seller.

Nightforce prices in Canada, contrary to what many people think, is actually a little cheaper than in the US right now. And as far as I can tell, these are manufactured in Japan - but to be confirmed at Shot Show next week.

Having said that, I'm not sure about Canadian pricing yet as we are waiting for the new pricelist, but US prices for NX6 are as follows as of today:

FFP:
1-6x24 US$1800
3-18x50 US$1900
5-30x56 US$2100
6-36x56. US$2200

SFP:
1-6x24 US$1500
2-12x42 US$1800
3-18x50 US$1900
4-24x50 US$2000
6-36x56 US$2200

Take into account that an NX8 C634 in the USA costs US$2450 multiplied by global spot currency of $1.39 today, that gives a CA$ price in the USA of CA$3406 and the actual Canadian price of a C634 is CA$3381 - $25 less than in the US if no currency fees are even added by your credit card.

So I don't really get why so many on here always bash CANADIAN pricing on Nightforce, when they almost always cost LESS here in Canada than the US price multiplied by the currency....?

ATACR 7-35x56 (C613) in the USA is US$3800 x 1.39 = CAD 5,282.00

C627 in Canada is CA$5244.

This leads me to believe we might see Canadian Prices as follows - roughly....

FFP:
1-6x24 US$1800 x 1.39 = CAD 2500
3-18x50 US$1900 x 1.39 = CAD 2650
5-30x56 US$2100 x 1.39 = CAD 2920
6-36x56. US$2200 x 1.39 = CAD 3060

SFP:
1-6x24 US$1500 x 1.39 = CAD 2090
2-12x42 US$1800 x 1.39 = CAD 2500
3-18x50 US$1900 x 1.39 = CAD 2650
4-24x50 US$2000 x 1.39 = CAD 2780
6-36x56 US$2200 x 1.39 = CAD 3060

By the way, not bashing the CANADIAN prices, just saying that Nightforce scope are becoming too expensive, that’s all.
Wasn’t at all referring to you - it was more aimed at recent posts in this forum stating how we were being gouged by the fact we now get them through a Canadian distributor. Hence me showing the math so more people understand that our pricing is very good relative to US prices. Sorry if you thought I aimed it at you - that wasn’t the intention. 😀

I’m very curious to see how these stack up compared to some of the other options on the market. They look very promising!

Having just purchased a Razor G3 4-24, I’d like to compare the razor to the nx6. But price point tells me there’s most likely a difference with the gen 3 being the better option.

Also, why no 4-24 F1 NX6??! With the listed weight that optic would dominate for NRL hunter builds.

ohhhh please share your thoughts? Im not a vortex guy at all but this scope has intrigued me! Its solid on specs of my liking!
The sad part is how expensive everything has become. Even Leupold scopes now cost more than high-end European scopes were just a few years ago.
I know there are lots of Dinosaurs here that swear on Leupold however their stuff has not been interesting to me for years, and will say have priced themselves out of the majority market, at least high end stuff anyways.

I think they new 2-12 is a big win, love the reticle and options. It will sell great along with the 3-18
vs the 2-10 mark5hd at a cost of 4-5k its really a no brainer.

SO, prices are now available, and I was pretty spot-on with my assumptions.

Here's the pricing in the USA vs the ACTUAL CANADA price:

CURRENT PRICES IN USA, CONVERTED TO CA$ @ $1.39/US$1

FFP:
1-6x24 US$1800 x 1.39 = CAD 2500
2-12x42 US$1800 x 1.39 = CAD 2500
3-18x50 US$1900 x 1.39 = CAD 2650
5-30x56 US$2100 x 1.39 = CAD 2920
6-36x56. US$2200 x 1.39 = CAD 3060

SFP:
1-6x24 US$1500 x 1.39 = CAD 2090
2-12x42 US$1800 x 1.39 = CAD 2500
3-18x50 US$1900 x 1.39 = CAD 2650
4-24x50 US$2000 x 1.39 = CAD 2780
6-36x56 US$2200 x 1.39 = CAD 3060

ACTUAL PRICE IN CANADA

FFP:

1-6x24 CA$2484
2-12x24 CA$2484
3-18x50 CA$2622
5-30x56 CA$2898
6-36x56 CA$3036

SFP:

1-6x24 CA$2070
2-12x42 CA$2484
3-18x50 CA$2622
4-24x50 CA$2760
6-36x56 CA$3036

So, a LITTLE cheaper than what they sell for in the USA, which is pretty decent!!!

We are already taking orders. Please contact me to place an order. Click on the PHOTO below for pricing and details.

Thanks

Robbie

Maybe ask them for a reticle similar to the SWFA Mil-quad? Or a plain old MilDot? With bold posts! No more of this 20 Mils of holdover and wind stuff. Haha.

That’s said, I look forward to checking out the 2-12 FC-MRx. And will likely snag one if the reticle turns out better than expect in real life.
