Took to the range yesterday, shot fine. had one fail to feed from 100 rounds. could have been the mag .
Should i do some sort of Trigger/Hammer strut/Feed ramp polishing or would you guys bother?

If it works fine why fool with it.

In general don't do anything till you've got 500 down the pipe. It lets the parts start to mat up reasonably well and by then you can decide if you really hate the sights, trigger, safety ....... and want to put cash into it, or just buy more ammo and keep having fun.

I brought 2 new 1911a1x,comes with optical frontsight . one blue and one chrome ,the 7 rounds mag need to tuneup .the 8 round mag very tight to put in 8th round. well, even my more expensive 1911 needs polish and lighten the power spring,I spend one hour for each gun to tune the mag and trigger no need to replace parts, make to 4.5lb pull. but my gun don't had feeding problem. good gun!!!!!$$$$$ cheaper than sam.

good advice. i will keep shooting it until it at least breaks in a little :)

congrats on new norincos....how about some photos to go with post
if you don't mind
i have two norinco cammander and dominion arms full size in chrome...just feed them and tweak them as you need to.

a little advise ,better put round nose 230 grains into the gun , extra mag ,dlask working good.

In my experience, all a new norinco needs is a good teardown and cleaning. If you don't mind the finish, and that plastic back strap they seem to perform as well as many other makes. Make sure the ramp is clean and has no edges/ridges.
