New Norc from Can Tire in Bowmanville

My local store has short and long barrel barrel in stock
Thinking about a long barrel
I'm I'm not I'm not sure how to check which is a good one other than sights and barrel being straight and so on
 
Wow Ive been away from this post for too long lol, so to answer a few questions, so first yes and no Barney we did clean out the gas cylinder but It was a few more than 2 drops lol and it does pass the tilt test like a champ. It is a standard norc so 22 inch barrel with the black plastic stock. Just to make one thing clear tho, this is not MY rifle this is a buddys first m14, I have 2 myself so they will do for now lol. These were on sale and were marked down from $625. Strange part was it only came with 1 5 round mag, luckily we were able to snag a few 5/20 mags at a gun show in pickering the next day.

Just pull the op rod back and let it go, if you get a very loud and distinct ping that's a good start
