Hi everyone my name is Dave, I'm 5'6" and around 170lbs... wait... this isn't that kind of introduction.
Anwho, I'm 25 and grew up in a household without firearms, though relatives are hunters and enthusiasts. Last year I was visiting friends on the wet coast and I was lucky enough to be able to tag along for a range day. It was the first time I'd shot anything more than air rifle and I was given the chance to fire a scoped .17HMR, an AR15, a pump 12 gauge and a 9mm 1911. I think I got spoiled that day. I've had a general interest in firearms for a while but I had such a blast that day that I think it's an interest I need to spend more time on.
The same friend recommended I hop on here and start reading, so here I am.
My interests right now seem to be focusing around longer distance target shooting, but I'm sure that's likely to change as I go further down the rabbit hole.
