Hello gunnutz,

When comparing to my other striker pistols, the P320 hammer drop sounds very weak. Almost like a weak thud sound compared to my other striker pistols. The Beretta APX and G48 strikes with authority whereas my P320 sounds quiet and produces a weak 'thud' sound. It makes me wonder if that is 'normal' for a P320 XFULL.

Anyone with the same model experiencing the same sound? I hope it's just me. I won't be taking it out to the range until earlier next year. I have found one example on youtube of a M17 or M18 where it sounded very similar but cannot confirm. More expensive models of the P320 sounded normal to me.

TIA!

It's definitely got a more hollow sounding striker than say a Glock, but I've never had an issues with a light primer strike or anything of the sort for a couple thousand rounds.

It’s normal. My p320 legion sounds like a nerf gun when dry fired. I can only compare to my g21 and g48 for striker fired.
