My whole life I have enjoyed guns. But circumstances didn't line up to allow the purchase of my own.
Until a few months ago my 13 year old started talking about going hunting. Now I have my PAL (arrived yesterday) and we both completed a Hunter safety course. I have told my son I will take him hunting but I would prefer target shooting.
My wife asked me what I was going to buy and I told her I need to start with 5 guns:
- 22 pistol
- 22 rifle
- shotgun
- hunting rifle (x2)
She looked at me like I was crazy. I was planning to start with the .22's so that we can get used to shooting and practise before we venture out into the wild.
The really hard decision is what to buy - brand, style, etc. And that is why I am here.
