There's a new-style quick-detach accessory mount for Picatinny rails. The design seems more apt for "tactical" use, but it is versatile enough for other uses as well. A few people here (including myself) have tested it, and it works just like the manufacturer claims: Easy on-and-off, solid, and it keeps zero upon re-mount (to same rail grooves on the same rifle.)
