I picked up my new pistol yesterday. Its a CZ75B in satin nickel finish. Purchased it from a local lad and fellow gunnut dangertree (Armseast). I was very pleased with the transaction and would recommend him to others. Took it to the range yesterday afternoon to try it out and it is very nice. Very comfortable to handle with a nice heft to it. Put about 100 rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly. I found the trigger slightly gritty but I've been working on it (polished out tool marks and dry firing) and its comming along nicely. Here's a couple of target pics. I'm the first to admit I'm not a very good shot.

Here's 10 shots free hand from 25 yrds:

and here's 5 shots from a rest at 25 yrds:

Pistol came with case, 2 mags, cleaning rod w/brush, another rod for cloth, mag loader (which I don't know how to use) and a snap cap.

Nice looking pistol. That group from a rest reminds me of a Hi-power I owned. There always seemed to be three shots touching each other and two off into outer space.

I'm sure that was MY shooting talent (or lack thereof)...

Nice pistol!

I have a CZ75 Champion (same as my avatar) on layaway at a gun shop and hope to get it paid off within the next couple of weeks.

I had a CZ75 before and regret selling it!

Very nice. I do not see any sharp edges, am I correct? If the members of this board want to get sick all they have to know is I paid $269 (US) for my CZ75B. Regards, Richard :D

...and probably bought it out of the trunk of a car on the way home from work :D

Fit and finish is very nice.

Actually the CZ75B was close out from a site in New Hampshire and it had to be shipped to my FFL guy. The shop is the same one that sold me a Kadet 22 Conversion Unit and spare magazine for $210 (US). Regards, Richard :D

Is the CZ75 bigger or smaller then the CZ85? Thing looks pretty friggen huge.
(small hands here... don't need to compensate either ;))

I think its the same size as the 85 but the 85 is ambidextrious. My hands are medium to large and I don't have any room to spare. I wouldn't recommend it for someone with small hands.

I'm sick, if that makes you feel better...soon CZ75B...soon you will be mine...

actually, the slim grip does make it reasonable for someone with smallish hands. The only problem there is the DA shot, so when a friend of mine (with small hands) was shooting it, she had to use it in Std, couldn't manage the first DA shot. I have medium hands, and I find the grip already full - I can't imagine someone with large hands shooting it comfortably, without one hand getting in the way of the other...

Yeah, the 85 and 75 are exactly the same frame, just different (two sided) controls.

I've got big hands (I can pick up a basketball overhanded), and I really like the CZs, I find they fit my hands perfectly and point naturally.

I use aftermarket grips, which do add a bit of size.
