New Pistol Question: Glock 35 or CZ Shadow

Hi guys

Quick question, looking to purchase my first handgun for target shooting at the range. So priority is accuracy and enjoyment of using it. As well like it to be simple to take care of since know nothing about that part of it.

Two contenders right now are the Glock 35 - liked how the Glock 22 at the range shot and figure the 35 might be a good choice. The other one that am considering though have only seen the phantom is the Shadow. Was able to shoot one of the CZ models in 9mm and was pretty decent. Though did not like the grips on the CZ Phantom.

So any feedback on which would be good either the Glock 35 or the Shadow would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone can explain the difference between the Gen 3 / Gen 4 glock that would be great. From the guy at the gun store sounds like the Gen 4 has a bit less recoil but more parts and not as much accessories and he suggested the Gen 3. Should I be looking at the Gen 3 or the Gen 4 model? Or will I even notice a difference?

The only real improvment is the grip and mag release
