I think Remington is in great need of re-assessing it's quality.
Marlin was not doing well when they bought it.
...and then it got worse...

Too bad the QC on this pistol seems to have been garbage - I was always a secret fan of the Vektor CP-1, and this could have been its "somewhat heir".

If I recall correctly, they have all been recalled for rework and the production line is being reworked to solve the problems.

I have a Remington 51 (the original model); it's a sweet gun, good looking and reliable.

I like it.. better looking than many of the older pistols now being imported.. hopefully they will get it right and fix the Q.C. issues.
