The DoubleTap Sports magnetic front plate replaces the front plate of the Black Scorpion magazine pouch. This increases the capacity of the magazine pouch, allowing you to hold two magazines on one pouch. This is great for unloaded starts, where you need the ability to holster your magazine quickly from the provided surface. The plate is thicker than the manufacturer’s plate, and is made of high quality aluminum. The added strength allows for the magnet to be attached without the worry of the pouch buckling or snapping under pressure. The high quality Neodymium magnet has a 90lb pulling force in vertical strength tests. This will securely adhere your magazine to the pouch to ensure it stays in place as you move.
The magnet comes installed on the front plate.
To install on your Black Scorpion Ambidextrous Single/Double Stack Competition Magazine Pouch, you will need to remove the front plate provided with the magazine pouch. You will then need to use the provided Allen key to remove the plate. Once this is done, you can install the provided plate using the same Allen key. Ensure that the plate screws are secured tightly.
