Are they really made by Lrb? I know the "USGI" forged oprods that LRB puts on their builds are made overseas. Same oprods Dlask is blowing out at outworldly low pricing. The same overseas manufacturer has been endeavoring to export their forged bolts here as well. Be interesting to get the full skinny on these LRB bolts.
Incidentally, dlask brought in oprods, sales were slow to nil.... Thus the current blowout pricing. They were offered bolts based on a minimum order. Due to poor sales of the oprods I'm thinkin dlask may not go after the bolts :(

I'll be nearby but unfortunately have no opportunity to go.

I'm interested in these bolts though. LRB's oprods are the RWB one-piece forged units from Korea, I wonder if the bolts are as well.

Yah, that's unfortunate, but if they were to bring in bolts, I'd jump on one in a second!

If you look on LRB's site in parts, they list their oprods as "import".
They are listing the bolts as: Genuine LRB M14 bolts, which to me sounds like made by them, in the USA, just like their receivers. I guess we will find out in January.

If they're for the m14 will they be able to import them or are they going to go onto the banned for export list.

These will not be govt parts so they should be good to go. I can for example buy a SEI barrel or LRB receiver as long as i get it imported "properly" ($$$ free trade my a** $$$).

"Genuine LRB M14 bolts" better be made in the good ol USA like their receivers.
Or else they would not be genuine now would they;)
Lets hope it is so. Come on January:popCorn:

Thing is, I think most norc/poly owners think we would benefit more from a USGI bolt than a op rod. I'd bet if dlask brought them in they would sell.

Well... I agree , though the second part I ditch on personnal norc based "match" rifles is the oprod... If it's loose mind you. If it rides the receiver nice and tight and silky smooth, it stays.
I'll see joe dlask in the coming week so will try and get an update for us all.
Now to the matter of LRB.
I "own" an all trw m14 built on a LRB M25 receiver but it's home is in south dakota where I go for vacations and M14 learnin.
Thing is I want to get my mitts on a 2nd M25 receiver either here or have one imported. Anyone know an importer with reasonable rates that can bring one in for me?

The rumour was that usgi spec bolts would be coming. The oprods were available to be imported and they were brought in. The bolts were not availlable from the manufacturer until recently. Unfortunately the oprods did not sell until the dealer dropped his price to cost. Long and short, there is no incentive for Dlask to bother putting up big coin for a minimum 100 units of usgi spec bolts.
That said, if anyone wants an order of 100 bolts, I can set that up for you.

I've always heard M14 Nutz clamoring for USGI bolts not op rods. Makes no sense to me why a company would order op rods instead of bolts or before bolts. One only needs to read the stickies to see Chinese op rods have not had the demand for upgrade that the bolts have.

In my experience most chinese m14's have very poorly fit oprods... But they are one piece forged.
BUT the bolts were not availlable at the time, only oprods.

So there are a ton of norc's with headspace issues... and someone orders op rods... and when they don't sell... because we don't really need oprods... they won't buy the parts we actually need... Like bolts... I need one, I just havn't gotten around to looking for one.

I agree, oprods were a poor choice to stock up on. I wasn't the guy that convinced dlask to do so
Tell you what, if at least 50 fellow cgn members commit to buying one of these bolts, I'll do what I can to get the ball rolling
I wouldn't hold yer breath but ya never know.
Somebody start a thread to see what interest is. I've got 5 rifles to match condition today and my allotted time to spend cruisin the forums is pretty much up for the day LOL
