Anyone have a good comparison between the various breeds of surplus ammo vs some of the New Production non-corrosive options?

What Im wondering is, Is new Production 7.62.39 worth the extra money?

I like the idea of being able to just come home after a shoot and simply run a brush and a few patches down the bore instead of the whole hot water song and dance.

Has anyone noticed any noticeable improvements in accuracy over Surplus ammo?

If I can simplify my cleaning, and if the ammo is more accurate, then it might be worth the extra money to me. if its nothing special ill just pick up another case of surplus.

Anyone have input?

Is the ammo more accurate?
I think that might depend what you're shooting it in. My Mini-30 was only slightly more accurate than my Mini-14 (minute-of-barn), with any breed of factory ammo; but did improve slightly with reloads lauching cast 170gn flat-points.

Ive got both the new production and different surplus. Im planning to shot em out of my 7.7" PWS AR. I will post pictures of the results. So far I have norc non corrosive, norc corrosive, Romanian, Russian Czech surplus. If anyone has different ammo in vancouver let me know

I love the diablo, short , light and ton of power, ive shot almost all of the rounds I mentioned. The new production smells better and has a nice fireball but the other ones stink like #### but accurate. I haven't tested the accuracy yet but will do at a later time.
