I am in the market for a cadex chassis for my pre-2006 production savage 111 Long action.
After realizing that cadex states on the website that they only produce chassis for savages made after 2006, and numerous emails to the sales department,
i have reached a point where they can not tell me if my action will fit.
To my knowledge the only changes to the long action since its inception was that the top of the rear of the receiver is round post 2006, instead of the flat surface.
I would like some help if anyone has a new round receiver, a pair of calipers and some spare time, if they could measure their action.
Cadex agreed that my action should fit but they arent sure of the trigger area and the sales guys said there were other changes made, but I am doubtful they actually know.
So if its possible could anyone measure the rear of their receiver(diameter) and the size of the ejection port.
Distance from front of action to the rear most area the trigger mech attaches, and maybe take some pics for me.
