Thought you guys might like a heads up on what is coming from Savage in 2007. Lots in the single shot actions including an Accutrigger that is supposed to go down to 6ozs.

Tactical rifles with Center Feed D mags. I am sure high cap mags will follow.

Some new hunting rifles but no real details until after the Shot Show this weekend.

There were pics on savageshooters.com but the site crashed and it hasn't been reposted.

Unfortunately, the stocks for either F class are not what I would call ideal. Hopefully, the cries of horror and disappointment have been heeded.

Yes, Savage will be selling their single shot actions with light accutrigger as a component. How? When? How much? no clue but don't think we will see much up here unless they really got the elves working overtime.

Feedback on the US forums looks very positive for demand.

Good news is that every new rifle I have seen Savage offer over the last few years had caught up with initial surge by the fall of the release year. Start talking with your favorite Savage dealer.

I kind of like the short barrel look. Too bad it didn't come in black. I guess I could always rebarrel my 10FP, but I doubt it.
 
Wether you are a Savage fan or not, they certainly have to be commended for their relatively quick responses to public demand of products. The other big manufacturers could stand to pay attention.

The 1/7 twist 223 should be able to stabilize the new 90gr pills from Sierra.

I see they also offer a 22-250 with a 1-9" twist. This is great news too, as you can now load heavy .22 cal bullets for outstanding long range shooting.
Gotta love those Savages!
