Guys I ordered and put a down payment on a stainless steel camo thumbhole model in 50 Cal. for the hunt this fall, I saw the gun in the catalogue and shouldered the Laminate at the gun store, it fit pretty good, this is my first black powder rifle, does anyone have any experience with them and or suggestions?

Arent these ML's new this year?? Nice looking gun and neat concept, they may be able to compete with T/C now??
What's the cost of one? Ive never seen one yet and am in the market for a new ML :D

Cheers!!

Its gonna cost me 600 after taxes, and your right the torch cam design and easy clean option is what reeled me in, as far as the competing with TC im not sure its up there yet, I was told the accuracy out to 200 and over is more accurate in a T/C than these guns but even if your hitting a 5 to 6 inch group out to 200 your still hitting the vitals on a white tail. Just my thoughts.

Randy Wakeman says they are crap, for whatever that is worth. If they are made in spain pot-metal jobs like he says, I would be somewhat skeptical. Particularly where a T/C z5 can be had for 319.95.

I would be very interested in how it shoots for you. I would be appreciated if you could post your results - maybe your best group.:ar15:

If it's anything like Winchesters inline m.l. which is really a CVA, I wonder if the same goes for Remington's?
I own a T/C Encore, hell ya it shoots great! But so does my newly purchased Traditions Tracker. I can't seem to think that the new Remington is all that bad,As long as it shoots minute of deer at 100yds or even out to 150,your laugh'n.
just my .02 cents
