Amen!! I picked up an earlier production SP 101, 4" and in .22LR.

Nice piece but the sights leave 'something' to be desired.

Looks like they beefed the frame up a little. The .32 Mag version seems to be the best package. Too bad it's 12.6...

Buddy #1 had a .22 & .38 Special, buddy #2 had a .22 & .357.

Buddy #1 was "Mr. Hotter, bigger bang is better", and badgered Buddy #2 to sell the .357 to him. They met at the range and Buddy #1 fired a full (5 round) cylinder from the .357.
After firing the 5 rounds, he expressed himself as "no longer interested in the .357 version"...

This coming from a guy whose "book loads" in .357 (125grain) were chronographed (by an interested 3rd party) at 1700 fps out of a 4" 686 S&W....:

I really like the look of that, Jeff Quinn over on Gunblast has a good article about it. I think a matched pair, .22 and .357 might be just the ticket...
