New .204 Ruger in a Remington 700 SPS V, EGW 20 moa base (Allen Gunworks), and a new to me 6-18x40 Nikon Buckmaster scope in Burris Zee rings.
So I put it all together last night, and went to the range today to do a quick barrel break-in, and see how she groups. It was -20 c today, with no wind, I didn't bring out the Chrony because at -20 I didn't feel like setting it up.
Any how here are some pictures of the EGW bases.

Not real impressed with the accuracy today, groups walked all over the place mostly up and to the left, then back.
I'll have to put on a trusty scope as I have not fired the one on it now before. Then I'll see if groups still move around.
I had the stock off before and noticed it was in need of a bedding job, and that the stock had pressure pads at the front, not free floated at all.
I guess I have just been spoiled with the last Savage/ Stevens rifles I've bought shooting great right out of the box.. This one needs some work, before I start hand loading for it.
I'll post some pictures of the bedding job when I do it.
