I bought a Lightly used Savage 110 ba yesterday.
Brought it home, and had a closer look at it.
To me, the brake is upside down...the vents are on both sides, and the bottom. Is this right? I'm thinking that if your on the ground, you would not want that #### hitting the ground in front/under you.
Or am I wrong?
Next, I bought a GG&G Heavy Duty XDS Bipod, and bipod adaptor for it.
So now I've spent about as much as the little lady will allow for awhile, but I don't have a good scope for it.
Only thing I have in a box, is a Vortex 3-9 x 40. (Was going to put this on a .22, but bought a Nikon instead)
Our range only goes to 300 yards, and I'd like to just play a bit first, but what would be a nice scope to mount on this, once my wife agrees to let me spend some more money?
Was thinking maybe a used Nightforce NXS 5.5-20x56, or a 8-32x56.
Suggestions?
