New rifle, new optics

So I just bought a tavor (should be here tomorrow) and can't decide on optics,

I can't decide between a 1-4 scope like the vortex viper pst or an eotch and magnifier.

Here's my problem. I have a slight astigmatism (Very very mild) and have glasses for it. Do you think i'd be okay with the eotech? I've heard red dots seem blurry when you have astigmatism, but I've also heard people say Eotechs work great with astigmatism.

In all honesty, go for the elcan. Anything less would be a sub par match to the tavor.

I just spent 3k on a rifle, if I bought a Elcan right now I'd be sleeping on the couch for a months lol

I'm kind of leaning towards the hi-lux cmr 1-4

my votes on the Vortex. those things are a great value. i picked up the Viper PST 2.5-10x32, needless to say i have no regrets. The glass is clear and bright, i spent part of a day watching people move about a parking lot about 2 kilometers away (not mounted to the rifle at that point of course)

I hear you, but I think that should be the end goal. I started with an eotech xps2-0, then got the elcan and moved the eotech to the shotgun.

I run the PST on my current competition rifle. (Great balance, money/performance)
I ran the Eotech/Mag on my last rifle (Didn't like the eye relief, was running the vortex magnifier)
I sold my Elcan just because of weight (Other then weight it is a FANTASTIC piece of optics)

I would run eotech again though..... very easy to shoot precise without the magnifier.... and easy to shoot close up.
What ever you choose you will be happy..... but prolly end up getting sucked in and buying all of them anyhow
