I got a new rifle ...WOO HOO

I always wanted a 22 hornet. Got good price on this little number so bought it! Remington 799

Got a Leupold one piece base on order and will throw a 3x9 Burris FF 2 that I have kicking around on her... bought sling and had Bi-pod.

Can't wait to shoot it and blast some critters got 250 rounds of ammo just the other day waiting on the dam base...GRRRRRRRRRRR!
 
Wow man that Is a beautiful firearm, you will love the .22 hornet it's a lot of fun.You have to reload to really be able to play lots or it gets expensive quick!!
 
Thx guys I think it is a smart looking little package too! Something different ... I will show results, as soon as the base arrives and I get a scope on it... I will be outside blasting away with it, can not wait .... I picked up 45 and 46 gr sp and hp rounds. Will be shooting factory ammo for a while. Everything I read on the round says do not expect much from it, but I need to see for myself... I agree it is not a target gun but it should be more then capable of blasting the vermin and small predators I am gunning for within 150 yards or so! I really like it, hope it shoots well too!
