New round..thoughts

If one was to use a 7.62x39 case and neck it down to say something like 6mm using a light bullet. and build the rifle on a bolt-action design. I imagine it would be do able?
What would you speculate Velocities to be?
I am thinking this should make a decent Antelope rifle for a kid or female hunter?

It is called 6mm PPC and has been in production since 1987. 70gr at 3140 fps.

You could neck it down to .308 and stretch the case to 63mm.....

Heck of a good idea, that. I'm gonna give it a try.

And if it works out OK, maybe I'll shorten it by 1/2" or so, and see if it has any potential at all.....
