Just arrived in our Canadian warehouse!
An RS Regulate mount is a 4 part optics solution for Vz58 and Cz858 platforms that allows for a rock solid repeatable zero, adjustability for eye relief, and the lowest height over bore possible on the rifle.
The four components break down like this:
You may have a receiver rail already. Lots of CSA model rifles come with them in the box, and many Cz858s have been drilled and tapped for the side rail setup.
The QD Mount is the RS Regulate part that is specifically made for the Vz58 rifle. Other bases are available to fit various kinds of AK rifles in the United States. This unit attaches tightly to the receiver rail, but can be loosened and slides off with a quick release lever.

The Optic Mount attaches to the QD mount using an ultra-thin rail system. Some optic mounts have standard picatinny rail along the top, but are also available with bases specific to popular brands of optics. The optic specific mounts produce the lowest and most comfortable mount.
Whichever optic you're using will determine which optic mount is right for you. Base types pioneered by Aimpoint and Trijicon are now used by many other manufacturers. When it all comes together you're optic setup will sit low with a comfortable cheek weld, without a dramatic weight increase. You can maintain the field serviceability of the rifle without adding an inch of pica-tinny rail if you so choose.
The 30mm: Pairs with a traditional Aimpoint Comp or Pro series optic, or any unit with a 30mm tube.

The Trijicon: Designed to fit ACOG style bases, compatible with Burris, Vortex, and Primary Arms prismatic sights.

The Micro: Designed to fit the Aimpoint H1 and T1 series of sights, this base will also accommodate the Vortex Sparc, some models of Holosun, and other small-base red dots.

The Universal: Sometimes the world just calls for pic-rail. If you've got a traditional mounted optic, this extended picatinny base still keeps you low to the bore.

Thanks to TV-PressPass for his help with the photographs, and we can now confirm that RS Regulate is presently working on a lightweight Receiver Rail that will integrate with all these mounts and pre-existing CSA side mounts! Stay tuned for more info on that one!
