just bought a 10-22 youth rifle at russels in calgary, short 16 inch barrel short wood stock and fiber optic sights, any on else have one of these ? never seen one of these before.
 
They are a neat looking small version ,great for packing around . Just dont put a folder on it as with the 16" barrel it will put under the minimujm over all length and right into the prohib class
 
With a butler Creek folder and a 16 inch barrel you will make that ruger a prohibeted , I have a 16"HB 10/22 action and If I were to put it into it would only mesure out to 643mm when folded and it would make it Prohib:confused:
 
just picked up my new 10-22 yesterday, its been a few years since iv owned one of these all i can say is the pins in the receiver are a verry tight fit on these new guns,what an improvement on the originals, the hammer, sear, extractor and bolt are very rough and burred,i will be stoning the burrs off of every thing before i fire the first shot, the burrs on the hammer and extractor are unbelivable, will post pics next week.
