Anyone have any opinions or own one of the new Ruger Ranch rifles with the new sights and peep site.Thinking of buying a 223 Ruger Mini 14 stainless steel with fiberglass stock.
Are they any good .accurate? Going to use on the farm as a ATV truck gun,and target varmit.

People say they've improved over the years, i had one years ago it was my favorite gopher gun. Very reliable but 3" groups were all I could get. Back then before gamil garbi screwed everything up for us I had 30 rd. mags for it so accuracy wasn't a biggie.
 
Get this one, just came out this year & is about $1080.00..they say it give 1MOA..

I had a Mini 14 in Stainless some years back. I sure hope they are better now. Couldn't get rid of mine fast enough.
It never shot groups worth a dam so I loaded for it. I found the load I worked up for it was excellent only prob was it was not enough blow back to cycle next round consistainly so jammed like a bugger with hand loads, and if ya worked one up that would cycle consistaintly I was right back where I started, ankle deep in brass and hosing the hell out of everything except the target. Oh ya and sights were crap and scope mount cost me a small fortune at the time...but thats just my 2 cents worth...your the one that has to like it
