i hear tale of ruger once again chambering there rifles in .358 and tha 3 inch version on the 400 jefferey does anyone know if this is true or not?

Hard to say since Ruger WILL (and has) build rifles to order for any company that orders enough units. They also will even invest cast other people's receivers, etc. at their facility - so it would NOT surprise me if they made such an animal in small numbers.
