I actually don't find myself in Canadian Tire as often as I used to, but yesterday I noticed a local CTC has new shiny-boxed Russian 9mm for about $17 for a box of 50. Being that they are mostly indifferent about firearms, the clerk in charge wasn't able to tell me if it was corrosive or not, in fact he knew nothing about it and was surprised to hear. Are there any reviews of this Rooskie stuff?

Almost all ammo now being exported from Russia is new production, intended for retail sale, and non-corrosive.

If it's in a printed, retail type box (not surplus, unprinted paper packaging), then (I understand) it's non-corrosive.

It says so on the box, I have some in 9mm 308 and 7.62x39 but I haven't fired a single round yet, I know the primers are harder and people have trouble with it in their pistols that have internal hammers, glocks M&P ect.
