New SA Rifle

Ok tks to a fellow gunnut on here i have another savage action to build on tks dfrombc

I am thinking of doing a WSM this time, but can decide. I dont really need another rifle, but.....you know how it goes.

Currently have .223 and a .308 in my SA catagory. Was thinking a .270wsm or 7wsm.

What is your favorite short action cal, and why?

350 rem mag, or 350wsm

7wsm for sure. More and better bullet options with higher BC's gets you a better performing rifle for short medium and long range.

30-06 is a short action. The party starts in the true long actions...375 H&H, 416 Rigby...the hits just keep on coming!

A 358Winchester would be a great S/A fit with a 308 and 223.
