New Savage 110 50th Anniversary Edition

I won't own a rifle that's "too nice to hunt with", but then, hunting is why I like guns! I do realize those Anniversary Editions are a $1700.00 dollar gun. If you like, I suppose you could just take it to the range and shoot it, if it's already been fired. Or sell it and buy something you can really enjoy. If it were mine, I'd be hunting with it, at least from a treestand in good weather! You can always buy a composite stock and save the wood one. I know that treating it the way I would do would destroy a lot (not all, but a lot) of the collector value. But I wouldn't care. If you care, pass it on to a collector and find a new love.

would you ues other things that look good take pride in it and use it dont need to abuse it .my wife would kill me i i said she was to pretty to use hahahaha

I have the Rem Classic 700 in 300 Savage and have been thinking this might be a nice compliment.
 
I wanted to go an look at the rifle Epps has but I feel as though I would buy it if I had it in my hands. I own a couple of Savages now, a 99 in 308, a LRPV Repeater in 22-250, and I recently bought an American Classic on the EE in 7mm Mag. These guns were designed on a utilitarian type basis and we meant to be shot. You don't generally see a production rifle with a stock like that nor some of the detail that that specific rifle has, but it was made to be hunted, and made to be accurate.

I hope you do use it in the field, and I hope it shoots just as well as all the other 110's out there.
