new savage 111 270 win what ammo? pic up now of groups

i just got a new savage 111 flns 270 win was wondering if you guys had found one type to group better than the other more often. I know each gun likes different ammo just looking for a good place to start as i can't afford to buy several different brands at once. Also its a 1 in 10 twist anybody know what weight of bullet would work best in this?

My Savage 111 likes Federal Premium 150g the best so far.

My vote goes to Federal Fusion 130's... In my .270 and 2 others I know of, these shoot VERY well and really won't break the bank...

mine has been likeing everything I feed it. 110 Hornady v-max, federal 130 & 150, hornady 150 gr sp, Winchester xp3's in 130 gr and 150 gr. I'm going to try 90 gr TNTs next.

You just copy the code from the "direct link" line under the picture in photobucket, then paste it into the picture insert window that comes up when you hit the button above the text box on CGN.

Nice group, btw. Shoot a few more to confirm it wasn't a fluke, then go hunting.
