New Savage 12BVSS in 223 Arrives

Well last night I received my Russell's order New 12BVSS in 223. I've cleaned it applied Weaver bases, Burris 30mm Zee rings and toped her with a Burris Black Diamond 8-32, 30mm tube. It's suppose to rain tomorrow but if not I may make some once fired brass.

i have a savage 12fvss .223 and never regretted a trigger pull. Thousands of shells thru her and still til today it shoots where i point it. I bought a 1 of 20 112 Savage special built rifles in .223 for my son and at 200 yards, he outshines even me. cannot wait to try it at 300 to 1000 yards. You can look forward to many years of pleasant shooting.

The 2 we have seem to love the 55 gr fmjs that are sold on CGN. I tried 62 gr and 75 but it seems the lighter bullets go where they are to go. A longer distance will show if heavier bullets are needed, as the range I shoot at is only 200 yards. I reload all my brass,..... even for my winnies.
