Just notice this today. Found it Intriguing

I own a normal A22 and it’s been a phenomenal rifle. Very accurate and faultlessly reliable. I also own a Ruger 10/22 Magpul back packer that this is ripping off. So this not something I’d opt for now but cool none the less as I do prefer the savage action and cleaning ease over that of the Ruger

I like the A22 a lot -- made in Ontario, accurate, Accutrigger is great, reliable 25-round mags.

I prefer takedowns so I can bring them on the motorcycle. But I will say... 6.3 lbs is heavy for a take-down 22LR like that. Marlin Papoose is 3.25 lbs, Ruger I think is about 4.7 lbs.

Still, some good ideas in it that make it practical for a hunting weekend in the sticks.

Hopefully it's available soon. I'm waiting on the A17 WSM that's been on their website for months but I don't think it exists yet.

I've got the 64 takedown, not sure I would upgrade to this except the mags are probably better.

I have read and watched a few reviews on the regular A 22. This one is pretty typical.

I personally can't see a take down being an improvement over their standard rifle.

The old Cooey design, the 64, is no prize winner, but my experience is that they were reliable... but then Ruger's recent 1022 offerings are also hit and miss it seems.
For those who like plastic, it likely is as good as anything else in that price range.
