New scope search - Thoughts?

The Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40A0 that I have on my Savage MkII .22lr is starting to bug me a bit with how finicky it is to get the proper eye relief and sight picture with it, especially since I have started wearing glasses and have gotten use to the constant eye relief of a Zeiss Conquest.

So is there a scope out there that has roughly the same magnification range, AO and has constant eye relief or at least isn't as finicky as the Diamondback? Glass quality must stay the same or improve. This rifle sees range use and gopher duties at no more than 200 yards tops.

What is a fair price for a used but not abused Diamondback?

Any ideas guys?

Anyone ever compare glass between Diamondbacks and Sightron SII`s? Sightron has a 3-12x42AO and a 4-16x42AO, there doesn't seem to be any Redfields's that qualify as they don't have AO.

Hmm, maybe I can do with out AO... I should say that it isn't so much eye relief as how hard it is to get a good sight picture with out the tunnel vision blackness around the image. Hope that makes sense.

I was looking at one of those today and thought there was something wrong with my eyes. I know exactly what you are saying.
