Hi all, just wanted to share my new scope with you. It's a Sightron SII Big Sky that I bought from Mystic Precision. It's a fixed magnification, 36x42 scope with fine cross hairs and adjustable objective. It's also got 1/8" clicks, which I thought was great for the f-class shooting I intend to use it for.

444shooter, it's a Remington 700 SPS Varmint ( minus the SPS now of course :) ).

Haha the bench has only been that clean for about 2 days, to call it a bench last weekend would have been a stretch, it was more of a "mound". Hahah

Target acquisition shouldn't be too bad, as long as it's in front of me when I lay down, it will just take a little patience :) Also that's why it's nice to be able to look down the scope and also leave your other eye open at the same time, I'm not worried about it.

Jerry @ Mystic Precision is a great guy, really easy to talk to and willing to help you out with any questions, regardless of how "n00b" they are :)

You are very generous, wanting to share your new scope. How long can we each have it for? Can my turn be in July, this year? Sightrons are too expensive, and a fixed 36x too specialised for me to ever buy my own, so this is really great for me to be able to just try one. Thanks. :)

Haha you got me there. Please read as share "pictures" of my new scope :D

But yeah this is a dedicated long range scope, so I was fine with fixed power. I'll get a variable if i get into tactical shooting or something.
