SEE ALL has release their new Tritium NITE site;

https://shopquestar.com/shopping65/shopexd.asp?id=2807&bc=no

The See All Nite Rail Site is a one-piece, Tritium lit open sight that can be attached to virtually anything with a rail.

It is the first of its kind in open-sight shooting technology: an open sight that allows the shooter to see both the target and the sight itself in perfect focus, simultaneously. It’s designed to have a range of about 100 yards, since the target is viewed with the naked eye.

The use of Tritium enhances its effectiveness in low-light situations, and requires no batteries.

It has an adjustment range of about 150 inches vertically and 150 inches horizontally at 100 yards.

Ok, you've got me stumped, $1240.00? No idea where you got that number from. As the website shows they're currently $309.89 CDN, price subject to change with our ever flexibly Canadian Dollar.

I may have interpreted wrong.

It says 25 per cent deposit required. So I was unsure if 310 was complete price or if it was 25% for preorder.
I have in the meantime read a handful of reviews and have a better understanding now.
Some companies on here only put the preorder amount if it is a preorder.

Sorry for any confusion. Amending first post now.

Understand, no worries. Any price we show on our site is the full selling price before all the obligatory taxes, shipping ($9.99 flat rate), etc.

When someone places an order on the website for an advanced order item such as this our website will show you the order total including taxes, shipping, etc. It does not calculate the deposit, 25% portion of the order total. As smart as these things are these days our site doesn't tell the difference between in stock and advanced order items and assumes everything is here.

Also our website does not actually bill you, we manual process the charges and in the case of advanced order items calculate the 25% and process that charge.

I hope this helps a little and if we can answer any other questions just let us know.

Enjoy!

I got a regular SeeAll last fall and put it on my 870. It works great and keeps it's zero, even after hundreds of heavy goose loads being fired.

Interested in acquiring one or two for a couple of Ruger scouts.... Will the mount they come with raise the actual sight portiOn higher than the front sight?

We can't say for certain as we don't deal with Ruger products so don't know how high the SEE ALL needs to be. Due to the design of these sights any front will be obscured, however the rear would be the one you need to clear so that you can see the aiming point of the SEE ALL properly.

What would you say is the advantage of a SEE ALL over a traditional red dot sight?

Well each will have advantages over the other depending on the type of firearm you intend to mount it on and the type/style of shooting you do. As with any sighting system proper installation for you is critical. So considering that both a SEE ALL and a Traditional Red Dot have been installed for you correctly here are a few things to consider.

From a physical / mechanical aspect the SEE ALL is generally going to be smaller than most traditional Red Dot sights which will make it less prone to getting caught on things or knocked about. It doesn't require a battery as most Red Dot's do which means it won't fail at the most unexpected time. It's size may also offer a greater field of view when you are in the aim. As you are not having to look 'through' any sort of tube or window.

The SEE ALL will auto-adjust (as it gathers available light) it's brightness as the ambient light level changes opposed to having to turn the dot intensity up and down as light levels change. So the possibility of engaging a target and finding that your dot is either to bright or to dim will be reduced.

If you're transitioning from some form of traditional iron sights (say a bead on a shotgun) to a SEE ALL the transition will likely be faster and easier to make as the presentation of the shotgun will be nearly the same as with the bead.

The low-profile nature of the SEE ALL allows it to be mounted lower on the firearm which can assist in maintaining a proper check-weld (long gun) unlike most Red Dot's which require you to raise your head off of the stock to get a proper sight-picture through it.

The low-profile nature also lends itself to the installation on a pistol as it allows for a closer replication of the pistols' presentation onto a target as it would with iron-sights. When larger Red Dot sights are installed onto a pistol if often requires a significant change to how the pistol is presented onto the target and will require more practice to regain fast target acquisition.

You do need to keep in mind that some of these pro's can also be con's depending on what you need and your requirements are adding the sight to you firearm.

Hope this is of some help to you.

Hey Questar, do you know if these mount on Weaver rails?

Thanks,
Ryan

We were told that they do and they advertise them as ' The See All Nite Rail Site is a one-piece, Tritium lit open sight that can be attached to virtually anything with a rail'.

When we saw them at the Shot Show they had them mounted on both Weaver and Picatinny rails, so unless there is some tolerance issue with the rail we have every expectation they'll fit.

Hope this helps.
