-Gear box and gears are made of plastic or metal?

Had a similar airsoft, lasted a rather short time but that does not of course mean this one is anything but great.

How many rounds does it shoot in between recharging?

I picked up a Crossman DPMS SBR a couple of years ago for my daughters to plink around with in the back yard, and it's been surprisingly reliable. Put about 2000 bb's through it without any jams. The mags are expensive though, but I don't mind C02. If you buy them in bulk, they aren't too expensive.

I'm shocked at how little discussion of these is going on; I though they'd be a game-changer, and wanted to hear some opinions before I got one. No CO2...apparently outstanding accuracy (for a BB gun)...quiet...I figured that the Canadian airgun forum, and CGN, would be full of chatter and opinions and reviews.

Nope! Crickets...
