I just got a new Canadian Edition Shadow, and shot it yesterday for the first time. The gun runs perfectly, except for the mags not dropping when the mag release is pressed. I actually have to pull the mag out, and while this requires a minimal effort, I cannot go to a match with this gun. It only happens with Tanfoglio mags from my 3-year-old Shadow, the original mags that came with Canadian Edition work fine. But I only have 3 of the new mags, and got a couple of matches coming up this weekend. Is there a quick fix? Also, the mag release spring is way too strong for my liking.
