The box arrived on Friday and I was able to get to the range to sight it in. I was nervous from the reports of indexing issues and the like from the new norinco however mine appears to be index properly. One think that I did notice was the gas system was tight unlike my other norinco. Unfortunately looks like the stock came from the same tree. Pretty is as pretty does so I removed most of the cosmeline and had it out to the range for sighting in.
This is what came out of the box.

Which looks mighty similar to the one I bought a few years ago

Temperature -5 with some blowing snow. Less than ideal conditions for driving must less shooting.
After sighting in with the last of my portugese surplus I shot one group with my reloads. 155 Grain Sierra Palma Match bullet with a max load of varget in a Norma Casing. 25 yard 5 shot grouping iron sights.

I might have pulled one 4 shot grouping

No malfunctions in the few rounds fired. Sorry that the range is only 25 yards I did attempt a grouping at 100 yards, however I quickly sunk up to my chest in snow.
