What would you consider more critical. Good lug bearing, or tighter head spacing? Fitting two different bolts in my receiver; bolt 1 headspaces at about 1.636 with good lug bearing. Bolt 2 is a little tighter at 1.634 but with inferior lug bearing.

Thomas, or anyone who might know, are all the 2011 recievers the same spec as the Doc's shorties? I might just grab a G.I. length nork to piss my Garand off, would be cool to get a match chamber with cheap parts

Just a FYI, I'm not accepting anymore riflework. I have also closed the CQB stock preorder deal as I have surpassed 50 orders and need to get thru them all. M14Doctor as the CGN dealer entity you all know, will cease operations as of June 30th.

As I have mentioned in the past at my clinics... all depends on which high school shop class put your rifle together and on which day of the week it happened. Friday or Monday, take yer pick.
Frankly, I am due for another one... this time a shorty!
